Tofino Fishing Guides Profiles

Zach was born and raised in Victoria, BC and has fished from the southern tip of Vancouver Island all the way to the most northern parts of British Columbia and the Alaskan border.  Throughout his life, Zach has been fishing Barkley Sound and the offshore west coast fishery. Long summer days were spent hunting for the best fishing areas as his passion grew for the sport. He started guiding in the Prince Rupert and Bella Bella area, where he gained experience as a fishing guide, and is excited to join Clayoquot Ventures team and return to his home fishing grounds. Zach enjoys engaging with other anglers to continue to expand his knowledge of different fishing techniques, and is always looking for a good reason to hook into the next big catch. In the off-season, Zach is attending McGill University in Montreal working to obtain his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
