Shaun grew up in Qualicum beach fishing the Straits of Georgia and numerous Vancouver Island
rivers for trout salmon and steelhead. Shaun is absolutely passionate
about fly-fishing, guiding Fly anglers, and trying to develop new techniques for both ocean
and river fishing.
From Shaun's first taste of guiding over 13 years ago for trophy
Chinook Salmon, only once taking a break to
become a marine research observer for a few years.
Shaun has guided the B.C. coast from the Queen Charlotte Islands to Southern Vancouver island for
Salmon, Trout and Bottom fish, as well as through the interior of B.C. as a fly-fishing
guide for Trout and Steelhead. Shaun currently splits his guiding season between the great Saltwater options in the Tofino area, and the world famous Steelhead waters of the Northern coast of B.C.
As a complete outdoor enthusiast, Shaun can be found fly-fishing for winter
steelhead and trout or exploring the unspoiled areas that exist on Vancouver
island when he isn't guiding. |
