"Fishing on the West Coast for over twenty years I can honestly say that the equipment, guides, accomodation and most consistant fishing success has been with Jay and his people.
All of Jay's guides have been very professional and accommodating. They do everything they can to get you on to the fish, and enjoy the experience, you can do as much or as little of the "fishing" as you choose.
I tried Saltwater Flyfishing last year and had a blast fighting Cohos with nothing but line between you and them. Jay and Lorrie Mohl are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome. Looking forward to the two trips booked in 2007."

 Megan Fraser
Born and Raised in Tofino B.C., Megan has grown up in the West Coast Sports Fishing industry. With years of experience fishing the waters of Clayoquot Sound, as well as warmer areas like Mexico, Costa Rica and Venezuala, Megan can hold her own with any large Chinook Salmon or Halibut. This practical experience and love of fishing helps Megan explain the great opportunities available to guests in her role as office Manager for Clayoquot Ventures. Megan works very closely with the Clayoquot Ventures Guide Team to stay tuned in on where the action is, and what gear is working best. By doing so, she is able to assist anglers with choosing the right gear from our Fly & Tackle Shop, and arranging the most suitable charter fishing plans to help create a memorable experience. When not in the charter booking office or on the boat she is often found tuning her golf game at the Long Beach Golf Course. |
