Matt has lived on Vancouver Island most of his life, where he has been fishing the Straights of Georgia as well as the West Coast of Vancouver Island for most Saltwater species. Matt has also be an avid Freshwater angler, enjoying time on many of the lakes and rivers of the south island. Always keeping up to date with new products in the sport fishing industry has helped Matt develop a strong background to help with retail sales when not on the water guiding.
Matt has played and refereed Soccer for numerous years, has volunteered as a Youth Camp Councillor and for worked with various Stream enhancement projects on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Matt is currently enrolled in the fisheries and aquaculture program at Malasapina -University College, where he aspires to help conserve our valuable resources on the B.C. coast, to be available to the future generations of sport fisherman!
