Marcus has grown up in the Tofino area, and fished the surrounding waters for over 20 years. Marcus is interested in all types of angling, from the small back road streams of Clayoquot Sound for Cutthroat Trout, to the open ocean opportunities for large Chinook salmon. In recent years, Marcus has found a true passion in Fly fishing for ocean bright Coho Salmon among the many reefs shoals and sand bars of Clayoquot Sound. Marcus states that “there is no comparing the feel of my fly reel screaming when hooked up with an ocean bright Coho Salmon”. Marcus’ enthusiasm for sport fishing has an addictive quality, as many guests leave from their ventures with him with an increased knowledge of the fisheries that he specializes in.
Marcus excels in personal skills after working as an evening waiter at the Tofino areas finest restaurants. When not working on the water, Marcus enjoys spending personal time on the water surfing and boating with his partner Devorah.
