Bren MacKenzie

From the original days of learning how to fly cast with a twist tie, to trailing a polar bear bucktail behing Power Play it really hasn't matter to Bren as long as he's on or in the water with friends and family. A couple bites don't hurt either.
During University Bren spent plenty of time exploring the nooks and crannies of the South Island’s waterways either during class or after. Student work terms included numerous trips to the Yukon where one of his fondest job postings was on an airstrip (that happened to run parallel to a Grayling rich river). Conveniently, there happened to be a rustic HBC aluminum canoe abandoned in the brush and with a bit of duct tape and some snow shovels as paddles Bren was guiding coworkers down the “air strip run” and shuttling clients back up stream with the forklift.
Bren's past winter was spent along side brother Conor on an extended trolling expedition, sailing aboard their 30 foot Alberg nearly two thousand nautical miles, hooking everything from 100lb Sailfish to sea turtles (foul hooked) on route from Mexico to Central America. However warm the water in the south, Bren always looks forward to returning to the productive waters of British Columbia westcoast.
