Booking Information and Policies

• All rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars

• Taxes, personal fishing license(s) and optional gratuities are not included in charter rates.

• Fishing licenses are available for purchase at our Fly & Tackle Shop or  you can purchase online  click here 

• If you wish to recognize exceptional service we have gratuity envelopes at the Tackle Shop or you may add an amount to your invoice. Should you have any questions with regards to customary gratuity levels, please do not hesitate to ask.

• Fuel surcharge may apply subject to fluctuations in fuel costs.

• We can recommend several local restaurants and deli’s which can prepare you a packed “to go” lunch.

• All charters depart from the 4th Street Dock unless otherwise arranged. Please confirm departure time 24 hrs in advance. Ph. 250.725.2700

• Parking - free parking is available adjacent to our Fly & Tackle Shop (3 minute walk from the 4th Street Dock). Please obtain a parking pass prior to departing on your charter.

• Deposit - A deposit equivalent to 30% of your charter rate is due at the time of making your booking in order to guarantee your reservation.

• Cancellation and Refunds -  Please provide written notice a minimum of 30 days in advance of your charter/package dates in order to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $50 administration fee. With 4-29 Days written notice the full deposit amount is non-refundable. Should written cancellation be received with 3 or less days notice, or should no notice be given, the full amount of the charter(s) is due and payable, less any fuel surcharges. Exception: we value all of our customers, and we understand that travel plans can change; therefore we will do our utmost to rebook cancelled charters so we may issue refunds for any rebooked cancelled charters. ($50 administration fee processed on all cancelled reservations).  Should your Guide need to cancel or shorten a charter due to unsafe conditions or mechanical issues a fee adjustment will be made for the portion of the charter cancelled/shortened. Please note, all charters fish rain or shine (we are based in a rain forest setting), however we will not fish in dangerous weather or sea conditions.  Motion Sickness does not warrant a refund. If you are, or may be, prone to motion sickness, you may wish to consider the various motion sickness prevention methods in advance of the charter departure time.

• Charter rates are charged by the hour - as originally booked or the actual time of the charter, whichever is greater.

• Need accommodations? We offer two private facilities - Clayoquot Vista Guesthouse and Bedwell Place Guesthouse. Please ask for rates and availability. Reservations necessary.

• If you wish to retain your catch, your Guide will fillet all bottom fish and dress all salmon at the dock.  If you require styrofoam coolers, these can be purchased in Tofino.  Ice can be provided with advance notice appreciated.  If you wish to have your cath processed beyond our dock side care, the following processors can assist you:
